A group of kittens, just hours old, were rescued after they were “tossed out like trash” last week.
Animal rescue Kitten Scoop in Greensburg tells KDKA Radio the six kittens were recovered in Squirrel Hill near the Parkway East.
A spokesperson says a young man found the cats near an apartment building on Forward Avenue, abandoned, tied up in a plastic bag.
Kitten Scoop is currently accepting donations to help care for the young cats only days old.
The ultimate goal is to reunite the kittens with their mother. Kitten Scoop is currently looking for any information that will help lead them to the mother.
