VisitPITTSBURGH is celebrating its 90th anniversary this week. Nine decades of successfully marketing and promoting the city as a sports and vacation destination and convention venue.
A number of good things are taking place in the city and VisitPITTSBURGH is at the center of them.
For example, the just released Insider's Guide to Pittsburgh, designed to encourage visitors to make the most of their time here. It includes special sections on this week’s U.S. Open and the upcoming NFL Draft.
More than 120,000 copies are being distributed.
And speaking of the draft, VisitPITTSBURGH is playing a pivotal role in preparations to host what is expected to be the biggest event in the city’s history. 500,000 to 700,000 visitors are projected to visit Downtown and the city will be in the national spotlight.
Based on past performance VISITPITTSBURGH will surely contribute to a major success hosting the draft.
