Center Township Police seek to ID person in Beaver Valley Mall theft

Center Township Police in Beaver County are trying to identify a suspect involved in a theft at the Beaver Valley Mall.

Police say it happened on Wednesday around 8pm.

In a surveillance video shared by police, the suspect can be seen removing what appears to be a tool of some sort to open a vending machine compartment.

Once open, the video shows the person reaching inside the compartment and remove something, though it's not clear what was taken.

The suspect was carrying a black backpack, wearing a white ball cap, black t-shirt, white shorts and black shoes. The suspect was walking on crutches and was wearing a medical boot on their left foot.

Police say the person walked out of the mall between Rural King and Planet Fitness and left in a white Chrysler Town and Country.
