Central Catholic High School switches to remote learning after positive COVID-19 test result

Central Catholic High School moved back to remote learning Tuesday after a school staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

The Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh announced that students will return to in-person learning on Monday, March 1st.

“Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our community has shown incredible resilience, persistence and adaptability,” said Brother Tony Baginski, FSC, Principal. “At this time, the safest place for our community to be learning is online, but we look forward to welcoming our in-person students back to Central Catholic soon.”

The diocese says the school continues to follow all recommended COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
