Charges filed against 65-year-old man in Pitcairn stabbing

Charges have been filed after two men were stabbed Wednesday night in Pitcairn.

A 911 call around 7:15 p.m. notified police of an assault in the 300 block of Broadway Boulevard.

First responders say the 67 and 65-year-old men had non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Both were taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Allegheny County Police say through investigation, they’ve determined that 65-year-old Barry Bishop initiated the encounter. He faces multiple charges including aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
