Chartiers Valley students are learning remotely today due to a "credible threat' made against one of the school districts.
District officials and local law enforcement discovered the threat and "out of an abundance of caution," made the decision to close all schools.
According to a letter sent to parents, students and staff will work from home and are advised to log into their district-specific remote learning programs.
Students should check Google classroom for more instructions.
In-school Veterans Day events scheduled for today have been postponed and after-school events and activities are also canceled.
No transportation will be available for any schools, including private or parochial schools.
