A Verona man has been accused of stealing and cashing a stranger’s checks on multiple occasions.
A woman reported potential check fraud to the Allegheny Township police in mid-March after bank employees told her account had been compromised.
Police say Tyler Vanzant cashed three checks for $1,800 and he will be charged with forgery, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and theft of mail.
