See Clark Griswold light a Christmas Tree up close and personal, right here in Pittsburgh.

Rivers Casino says iconic comedic actor Chevy Chase will be on hand this Black Friday to light a tree during “festive ceremony” celebrating the 35th anniversary of the move “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”.

The Rivers Casino Christmas Tree lighting will take place at 5 p.m. and will be followed by a sold-out viewing of the iconic Christmas movie at 7 p.m.

That will be followed by a Q&A with Mr. Chase.

Chevy will recreate the iconic scene from the movie when his character plugs in the lights and they finally work, after a few failed attempts.

Santa Claus will also appear with Casino employees in ugly sweaters and free hot cocoa and cookies for guests during the lighting.

Starting off the holiday season with Chevy Chase will help you have the “hap-hap-happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap danced with Danny Kaye.”
