A Penn Township woman is facing child endangerment charges after being found unresponsive in the middle of the road.
The Westmoreland County DA's office says a passerby found 40-year-old Melissa Davis unresponsive in the middle of Berlin Road last week.
Officers say they noticed a strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech.
Davis admitted to drinking whisky and taking six hydrocodone and at least eight Xanax pills.
She's accused of leaving two children, 11-and 2-years-old at home without adult supervision.
