The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office has released the name of the little boy who was killed after being struck by vehicle in Pittsburgh's Upper Hills neighborhood.

4-year-old Yiason Irvin-Weathers was transported to UPMC Children's Hospital, where he died after being struck on the 700 block of Anaheim Street around 7:30 Monday evening.

Pittsburgh Police say the boy ran into the street when he was hit by the vehicle.

The driver remained on the scene and was cooperative with police.

There are on initial signs the driver was under the influence of the time of the accident.

Pittsburgh’s Vision Zero Fatal Crash Response Team will be visiting the site over the upcoming weeks “to evaluate potential crash factors.”

Police will provide updates after the investigation.
