Chipotle restaurant to open at former Denny's site on Rt. 30 next year

The restaurant will feature updated interior designs

Chipotle is bringing a newly designed restaurant to Pennsylvania and the first location will be on Route 30 in Irwin.

A spokesperson for Chipotle Mexican Grill tells KDKA Radio that the restaurant is scheduled to open at the former site of Denny’s sometime in 2026.

The new location will be similar to other Chipotle restaurants, but with some upgrades.

Those include pick-up lines inside and outside the store for online orders, and more efficient equipment in the kitchen.

The restaurant will also look different.

"We are currently scheduled to open a new location in Irwin next year. The restaurant features our latest interior design concept, which includes new materials, textures and artwork that reflect our commitment to Food with Integrity and honor our brand’s history," a spokesperson for Chipotle tells KDKA Radio.

The current Denny’s building will be demolished to make way for construction of the new restaurant.

It’s not known when in 2026 the new restaurant will open.
