The city of Pittsburgh has position available for an IDEA manager.
IDEA stands for inclusion, diversity, equity and access.
The IDEA manager works with volunteers from the Gender Equity Commission and LGBTQIA+ Commission and other city departments to help implement ideas and initiatives.
The ideal candidate is someone with expertise and interest in equity and inclusion, social work and public policy.
The job pays about $66,000 a year.
The mayor's office says someone in the Gainey administration has been serving in that capacity but is leaving.
It's the first time the city has posted the job opening online.
