A man who is already behind bars in Butler County is now facing new criminal attempted homicide charges in Allegheny County.
Police have charged 27-year-old Darohn Winmon of the North Side in connection with a July 6 shooting in Clairton.
The victim was shot several times in the 300 block of State Street.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
