CMU graduate details experience on Blue Origin's New Shepard NS-18 flight

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - Glen de Vries, cofounder of Medidata Solutions and graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, was aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard NS-18 mission Wednesday.

I understand now why so many astronauts say it's so difficult to describe, because it really is an experience, to put simply, that the human body isn't designed for " de Vries said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show Friday. "I'm not sure if my human mind was really able to take what I saw with my eyes and felt with senses, and turn it into something that I can describe."

This was the second successful civilian crewed trip for Blue Origin.
