According to the school's website, the new policy will apply to al undergrad and graduate students in U.S.-based programs.
CMU says it will take into consideration those students who do not receive the vaccine due to medical or religious reasons.
Students will be required to show documented proof of their vaccination, though the school has not yet released details for that a process.
CMU is also determining whether or not to require vaccination for all Pittsburgh-based faculty and staff.
The school website says additional information related to the vaccination requirement will be communicated in the future.
