It may be more trick than treat for motorists this Halloween around the Pittsburgh area.
AccuWeather meteorologist Dean DeVore says with the combination of a dip in the temperature with the possibility of some rain and snow tomorrow night, we could be dealing with some slick roads.
“Later tomorrow night into the early hours of (Wednesday) morning with some of those snow show possibilities, I don’t think during trick or treat time, especially city and the near suburbs but certainly later on tomorrow night into Wednesday,” said DeVore.
The rain continues Monday with a high in the low 50s. Then, clearing and colder overnight with temperatures in the mid to low 30s.
A high of 46 tomorrow, but temperatures will be falling through the day, making for a cold trick or treat Tuesday evening.
Temperatures moderate as we get into Thursday nearing 50, and by the weekend, we could be touching 60 degrees or so.
