There is a confirmed case of bird flu in Butler County.

The infection was found last week on a backyard flock of 610 birds.

They are not birds being raised for poultry or eggs.

The PA Department of Agriculture says because these birds are on a non-commercial farm, there is no three-kilometer control area surrounding the affected farm.

But, state officials are still working to eliminate the virus at that farm..
