One of the congressmen involved in the congressional investigation into the attempted assassination of President Trump claims the FBI stonewalled the probe.
There were reports of violent social media posts shared by the shooter.
Thomas Crooks, endorsed political violence and made a significant shift from being a hardcore Trump advocate to attempting to shoot him.
Congressman Mike Kelly told KDKA Radio’s Marty Griffin that the FBI never shared the files with the Congressional investigation.
“Why in the world do we keep getting stonewalled every time we try to get answered for the American people that they need to know if they’re going to have any trust in the future of what they hear from the federal government,” said Rep. Kelly. “This is astounding what’s happening.”
Kelly says there's so many unanswered questions, but the federal government doesn't want people to handle the truth.
