Residents in Ross Township are getting an idea of what the newest ice cream store in the area is going to look like.
The Meadows Original Frozen Custard is overtaking the former Avis/Budget rental car store on the 6200 block of Babcock Boulevard.
The Meadows says construction is scheduled to begin early this month.
An opening date has yet to be shared, but The Meadows says the location will feature a “fully functional drive-thru”.
Started in Duncansville, PA (near Altoona) in 1950, The Meadows has nearly 30 locations including locally in Cranberry Township, Greensburg, Latrobe, Monroeville and Indiana.
In addition to frozen custard, The Meadows also offers Sundaes, shakes, Italian ice, smoothies, cakes and more.
