PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald made an appearance on the Big K Morning Show to deliver a message regarding Labor Day and workers across the Pittsburgh area.
Fitzgerald referenced his work daily work with Mayor Ed Gainey as they both fight for workers’ rights and improving conditions.
“Mayor Gainey and I have always worked together on a lot of issues,” Fitzgerald said. “Working together on things like development. Making sure they are productive for all. For the workers that are building… and for the workers that will be there after.”
Fitzgerald and Gainey hope to continue their working relationship in guiding the workers of Pittsburgh into the future with great benefits.
“Making sure that when people put in a full days work that they can go home with dignity and the type of pay that can live a good quality of life here in Pittsburgh.”
