Allegheny County is getting ready for winter and holiday events.
On Thursday, it was announced that the North and South Park ice skating rinks will open for the season on November 24.
Public skate times will be available on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and other specialty time will be available on the County’s website.
The season will run through mid-March.
It was also announced Thursday that tickets for the fourth annual North Park Holiday Drive-In laser show are on sale
The laser shows begin on Friday, December 8 and will run through Saturday, December 23 at the North Park Swimming Pool Parking lot on South Ridge Drive.
