The Fayette County couple accused of locking their 6-year-old daughter in a cage was ordered to stand trial Tuesday.
During a hearing, DA Michael Aubele said it's a miracle the girl survived.
Jacob Weight and Mimi Frost of Brownsville are also accused of starving the girl for days.
A nephew told the court she was locked in the crate nightly and forced to eat dog food.
He admitted to taking part in the torture because he feared his uncle. Additional charges are possible.
