Allegheny County Health Department officials have confirmed an outbreak of COVID-19 at a McKeesport community living center.

Officials say 11 percent of residents at the Kane Regional Center have tested positive for COVID since the outbreak began on November 4.

All those affected are displaying mild symptoms, and have been sequestered from the rest of the residents under enhanced safety protocols.

Visitors are still allowed into the COVID-positive center but are advised to wear masks.
