Some people who've signed up for a coronavirus vaccine in Allegheny County say their appointments are being canceled.
The county Health Department says it's happening because there aren't enough doses.
Director Debra Bogen says the county is giving shots only to healthcare workers and people 65 and over.
“We did that based on the fact that we know 65 and older are much more likely to get hospitalized and much more likely to die if they get COVID-19,” she said.
Dr. Bogen hopes to include everyone in phase 1A when more doses are available.
