COVID vaccine will be available to Pennsylvanians without a prescription

Pennsylvanians without a prescription will be able to get a 2025 COVID vaccination.

That's after a State Board of Pharmacy vote that allows for the vaccination.  It voted to allow pharmacies to follow guidance from other health agencies beyond the CDC, including the American Academy of Pediatrics which recommend the COVID shot.

This year the CDC recommended the vaccine for adults 65 and older, and those who are immuno-compromised.
