With Wegman's planning to open its first Western Pennsylvania store in Cranberry Township next year, the developer behind those plans wants to build on that momentum with more retail.
According to the Pittsburgh Business Times, Sippel Enterprises, which sold a 13-acre township site to Wegmans for just over $14 million, is now planning between 150 to 160 thousand square feet of additional retail at Cranberry Springs.
Sippel expects there will be new demand generated from the grocery chain at this new location.
