A different way to dessert is coming to the Pittsburgh area.
Crispy Cones is coming to Allison Park this March.
The location on the 4600 block of William Flinn Highway will offer a European dessert places that is a favorite in places like the Czech Republic.
“Fresh dough cone, grilled rotisserie-style and covered with cinnamon + sugar or specialty powder” is filled with soft-serve ice cream, fruit and/or more.
A specialty cone, that changes monthly is also available.
Spreads available include Nutella, peanut butter, cookie butter and strawberry jam.
Vanilla, chocolate and swirl, along with a weekly favor are the ice cream options.
You can also get Oreos, Kit Kat, Heath Bar and so many more toppings, along with four different kinds of sauce on top.
Crispy Cones got its start on the TV show “Shark Tank” and has eight locations open in the United States, with several more, including Allison Park, “coming soon.”
