A 15-year-old is now being charged as an adult for a triple shooting outside Cupples Stadium on the South Side earlier this month.
Police say surveillance video from a bank across the street helped to identify him.
Police say the gun was found a few streets away.
Police say at least two witnesses identified the suspect as someone they knew from where they worked.
The suspect is charged with three counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault as well as gun charges.
Following the shooting, several safety measures were put in place for those attending a game at Cupples Stadium:
All students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who's at least 21.
All students must show ID
No outside food or drink or containers like a Yeti or Stanley mug
Home and away gates will close at the start of the third quarter.
Suspended students will be denied entry.
Parking will also be restricted along 9th from McArdle to East Carson and students will be asked to leave promptly when the games end.
A clear bag policy goes into effect on Thursday.
