A little kitty was rescued by Pittsburgh’s Animal Care & Control on Thursday after it got stuck in a sewer.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says two officers responded Browns Hills Road where they found the kitten in one of the catch basins.
They contacted the water company for help removing the sewer grate.
"While waiting for the water company to arrive, we dropped canned food down to the kitten and she would come out and eat it like a maniac," said Officer Ley.
Once the grate was removed, Officers Johnson and Ley tried to grab the cat with a net but were unsuccessful.
Traps were set up on both ends of the basin to catch it and were successful.
