PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - Identity and cyber thieves stole over $6 billion of U.S. pandemic relief funds from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
"President Biden brought that up at the State of the Union and is apparently appointing a special prosecutor, because this has happened all across the country," Gov. Tom Wolf said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show Tuesday.
The money was intended for unemployed Pennsylvanians.
