A long stretch of cold weather will continue into the weekend in the Pittsburgh area.
Temperatures will plummet into the single-digits overnight Tuesday, with real feels below zero and could get toward minus 10
A Wind Chill Advisory goes into effect at 10 p.m. Tuesday until Wednesday at noon.
We could also have issues on the roadways like there were on Tuesday morning.
It’s so cold that the salt that is used to treat the roads don’t work very well.
Wednesday will be another cold day with temps staying below zero until Monday.
Some snow is also in the forecast later in the week.
Right now, that snow could measure 1 to 3 inches.
