The Pittsburgh Fire Chief is off the job for now as the city investigates operations within the fire bureau.
City officials confirm to KDKA Radio Chief Darryl Jones has been placed on paid administrative leave while an internal review gets underway.
At this time, the city is not releasing details on what prompted the review and a call to the firefighters union president has not been returned.
Jones has led the department since September 2007.
