It’s back-to-school week for thousands of kids across the Pittsburgh area, including college students at places like Pitt and Carnegie Mellon moving into their dorms.

One of those beginning her college journey is the daughter of two famous parents.

The 18-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise is now at CMU and getting ready for her freshman year after the university’s first-year student orientation.

The 18-year-old Suri Cruise arrived this past weekend with her mother helping her get settled, per The Daily Mail.

Cruise is overseas filming another sequel in the Mission Impossible franchise.

The Daily Mail has reported in the past that Cruise hasn't been in Suri's life in at least 11 years.

Suri is the only child of Holmes.

Tom Cruise has two other adopted children from his prior marriage with Nicole Kidman.

Holmes starred in the 2000 film “Wonder Boys” as Hannah Green, a college student in Pittsburgh.

Carnegie Mellon was one of the filming locations for the movie, that also starred Michael Douglas, Tobey McGuire, Robert Downey Jr. and Monessen native Frances McDormand.

Classes begin at CMU on Monday, August 26.
