PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - Southwestern Pennsylvania deer processors are being overwhelmed with work. The expanded seasons and shortage of workers are contributing to the problem.
"It all comes back to having that option to do it yourself," said Travis Lau, Director of Communications for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. "To skin the deer and quarter it, again, that job can be done by even a brand new first timer within an hour."
