A federal grand jury has refused to indict six congressional Democrats who released a video telling members of the military they must reject "illegal orders."
President Donald Trump called their comments "seditious" and demanded that they be "arrested and put on trial."
Among the Democrats is Representative Chris Deluzio who told KDKA's Marty Griffin.
“Could I have guessed the President would echo calls for our hanging and tell his federal prosecutors to try to throw us in jail and prison, absolutely not,” said Rep.
Deluzio.
The lawmakers said the video was prompted by the president's threat to send troops to Chicago and strikes targeting boats allegedly carrying drugs to the US.
Deluzio adds he won’t be intimidated by President Trump, who he calls a “draft dodger.”
