Derry Township man arrested on sexual assault of a minor

State police have arrested a Derry Township man following the reported sexual assault of a minor.

State police say the incident was reported to them on Tuesday and it all began when 61-year-old Douglas Baum was asked by the reported victim's relatives to give her a ride from Pittsburgh.

The victim told police the following day, Baum took the 17-year-old shopping, and then told her to come into his bedroom after she finished lunch.

She was then told to perform a sex act before cameras he had set up.

State police say they did find a photo showing a sex act between Baum and the victim.

She notified nurses, who in turn, notified the police.

Baum's bond was set at $100,000 dollars.
