Lower Burrell Police and County Detectives executed a search warrant at Discount Vape and More Shop at Hillcrest Shopping Center in Lower Burrell.
Officers located and seized several products that were identified as Schedule I narcotics.
“Undercover officers purchased a mushroom extract THC-A vape and a pre-rolled joint, suspected to be a controlled substance,” a release from the Westmoreland County DA’s office states.
Balwinder Singh and Asad Faiz were identified as the owners of the vape shop.
Singh and Faiz are facing drug-related offenses.
Law enforcement agencies have been investigating several vape shops in undercover capacity for more than two years.
