Hamilton, the successful Broadway musical, is close to its return to Pittsburgh and tickets are hard to come by for the big show.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust created a way to make it easy to give Pittsburghers a chance to see their favorite musical.

A digital lottery was announced Friday that will give people a chance each week to win Hamilton tickets.
40 tickets will be made available for every show through the lottery that will cost $10 each.

For example, the lottery opened Friday morning at 10am and will close at 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 18 for the week of February 22nd to February 27th. Subsequent digital lotteries will begin on each Friday and close the following Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances.

You can enter by using the official app for Hamilton on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Each winner can purchase up to two tickets.

Hamilton will run a the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh from February 22nd to March 13th.
