A dog that was reportedly thrown out with the trash in McKeesport has her forever home.
Late last month, Sable Kennel rescued a small white pit bull that was abandoned, found sitting on a couch after the people in the home moved out.
“And she was just sitting there with the furniture that had been discarded, she was sitting on a couch, just waiting for her people to come home, and they never did,” Kelsey Gross, a volunteer with Sable Kennel told KDKA Radio.
Sable Kennel says the dog now has a new home “where she’s treasured like the gift she is.”
