Traffic was halted for a brief time on Friday afternoon on the Parkway West due to dogs on the road.

KDKA Radio Traffic reported that the dogs were seen on the road before noon, with some people trying to get them off the roadway.
The dogs were seen between the Carnegie exit and Green Tree hill on both the in and out bounds sides of the Parkway.
PennDOT cameras did not pick up the dogs on the Parkway
No injuries were reported.
No word on how the dogs got onto the road and the incident seems to be resolved quickly.
