A suspect in a domestic disturbance in Moon Township Wednesday morning was found dead last night.
Moon Police called to the 100 block of Fern Hollow Road say the victim's ex-boyfriend was not there when they arrived around 1:30 a.m.
They decided to wait and, about three hours later, the ex-boyfriend returned but fled when he saw their police cruiser.
Officers found his vehicle a short time later on Randy Lane.
17 hours later the man's body was spotted around 9 p.m. in a drainage tunnel near the Sewickley Bridge.
Detectives with Allegheny County Police say their investigation shows the suspect ran from his vehicle into a wooded area and, as he ran through, he apparently fell from a small cliff and made it to the tunnel before dying.
No word yet on the man's identity.
