In one of the most Pittsburgh stories you’ll ever hear, rock legend Donnie Iris has been reunited with his 2004 Buick Park Avenue car.
The folks at popular Pittsburgh media site oneBURGH says the car was “sold without him knowing” some time back.
In February, a friend of Iris reached out to oneBURGH and asked them to help find the car.
“How can you not help King Cool?” oneBURGH said.
A few months later a man named Tom Lawler say the post and thought it might be one he had recently bought.
With the help of oneBURGH, Lawler was able to get in contact with Iris and give sell him is Park Avenue back, without an upcharge.
"I'm a believer in karma and the universe so I'm not looking to turn a buck on somebody else's misery," Lawler told KDKA-TV.
So, Lawler has a purely Pittsburgh story and the “Ah-Leah” singer has his precious Buick back.
