Dozens of UPMC workers walked off the job today demanding higher pay, the ability to unionize and affordable health care.
At a rally outside UPMC headquarters this afternoon, a number of elected officials joined the cause, including Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman and Pittsburgh mayor-elect Ed Gainey.
"I want some kind of answer and what they plan on doing, I mean you know we're good workers, we're hard workers and we deserve to be treated better," said Nora Kelly
Kelly walked off her job as a housekeeper at UPMC Presbyterian.
