New details are being released following the death of Seera Catholic High School Student Samantha Kalkbrenner in September 2023.
The 15-year-old was killed after the school van she was in was hit by a Volkswagen Jetta at the intersection of Richland Avenue and 3rd Street in Dravosburg on September 20, 2023.
According to a local defense attorney, the driver of the van had cocaine in his system at the time of the crash.
Two men are charged in connection to the crash, William Soliday of Irwin faces several charges including criminal homicide and homicide by vehicle. Andrew Voigt is charged with reckless endangerment and others.
Now, according to defense attorney Casey White, the driver of the school van had cocaine in his system at the time of the accident.
