With a weekend of Halloween bar events starting tonight, the South Hills and West Hills DUI task forces will be looking for impaired drivers.
Roving patrols start Friday and run through the weekend. Police are advising people planning to drink this weekend to have a plan for getting home.
The enforcement will take the form of checkpoints and roving patrols.
In a release, they say "nobody wants to do field sobriety tests dressed as a goon or goblin."
The West Hills task force in made up of members from police departments in Avalon, Bellevue, Carnegie, Coraopolis, Crafton, Crescent, Edgeworth, Findlay, Kennedy, Leetsdale, Moon, North Fayette, Oakdale, Ohio Twp., Robinson, Sewickley and Stowe.
