Six teenage girls are facing charges following a violent assault at the East Liberty Sephora store.
Police say a clerk had "briefly engaged" with the girls while passing a nearby bus stop.
She says they then eventually followed her into the store, throwing bottles of perfume and make up, punching and kicking her and beating her with a metal sign.
The teens had barricaded the door so she couldn't leave, but she was able to get out.
The teens are charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief and other crimes.
Damage to the store is estimated to be about $30,000.
