UPDATE: Pittsburgh police now say a 16 year old has been charged in the assault of a man in East Liberty Thursday afternoon. Police say the suspect is being charged as a juvenile. The victim's condition has been upgraded to stable.
Pittsburgh Police say a man was hospitalized in critical condition after he was attacked by a group in broad daylight in East Liberty.
This happened near the Whole Foods store on South St. Clair and Eva Streets.
The an was found unconscious and not breathing. First responders provided CPR and the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say several males of an unknown age were detained and taken to police headquarters for questioning.
It's not known if any charges have been filed.
