The days of dueling Eat'n Park locations on McKnight Road are coming to an end.
The restaurant on the southbound side of McKnight will close on December 1 after 46 years in business.
The northbound eatery, about a half-mile away, will remain open.
Eat’n Park provided the following statement to KDKA Radio:
After 46 years of great memories, we will be saying goodbye to our southbound McKnight Road Eat’n Park on the afternoon of December 1. We are grateful to our loyal team members for their dedication to our many regular guests. We have offered all of them positions at our numerous nearby Eat’n Parks ahead of the busy holiday season, including the Eat’n Park on the other side of McKnight Road heading northbound.
We invite guests to visit all our neighboring Eat’n Park locations, where they will find the same friendly faces, our famous Soup, Salad & Fruit Bar, and convenient Pickup Windows for takeout.
