A former Erie man is heading to prison after violating federal drug laws.
According to U.S. Attorney Stephen Kaufman, 31-year-old Damon Henderson pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of a substance containing fentanyl and a substance containing cocaine.
Henderson also admitted that he sold drugs that caused the death of another person on June 15, 2017.
Sentencing for Henderson is scheduled for October 4, 2021.
He is facing 20 years in prison, a $1 million fine or both.
