An events center and social club in Pittsburgh has been ordered closed after an inspection by the Allegheny County Health Department.
Da Village Social Club/Missionz Hookah Lounge on Greenway Drive in Crafton Heights was ordered closed on Tuesday.
The club was hit with several medium and high-risk violations and was operating without a valid health permit.
The high-risk violation comes because of an inability to wash, rinse or sanitize anything on the main floor with a three-bowl sink lacking a faucet.
The ice bin in the upstairs area was found with residue on the inside and the drain link is closed.
There was also evidence of vomit and fecal matter in the men’s room, including on the toilet, both sinks.
Several fixtures did not have an adequate supply of water or lack of hot water.
There was also evidence of smoking inside several areas of the building including behind the bar, in the food preparation area and in the back of the kitchen.
